THERE is no need to worry about being caught napping while studying in Joondalup.

ECU students are now well in to the swing of the nap pod lifestyle in the campus library.

The two EnergyPods, which encourage students to take a short break when needed, feature a reclining bed with a visor to reduce outside light and noise while also providing privacy.

The National Sleep Foundation recommends a short ‘power nap’ of between 20 and 30 minutes to improve concentration, mood, alertness and performance.

The pods use sound, light and gentle vibrations to wake the occupant after 20 minutes.
