A fine way to donate

For each donation of non-perishable boxed, bottled or canned food during November, Joondalup, Duncraig, Whitford or Woodvale library members can have $1 in current fines waived as part of the City of Joondalup’s Food For Fines initiative.

All food donations will be given to the Patricia Giles Centre.

‘All donations will make a difference in the lives of women and children who are struggling to make a new home free from violence and abuse,’ chief executive Kedy Kristal said. People without fines can join in too.
