Ms Brown became Australia’s first Ambassador for Ageing in April 2008, and will complete her second three-year term in 2014.

As the ambassador, she is involved in a range of activities and events in the community that meet the program’s objectives of encouraging respect for older Australians and healthy, active ageing.

National Seniors Australia has more than 200,000 members aged 50 and over, and acts as an independent voice for seniors and lobbies governments at all levels on issues affecting seniors.
