The pair launched The Shave to Save campaign in October to raise funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF).
“Raising money is always a primary goal but it’s the support that is overwhelming,” Prem said.
“Five thousand dollars towards cancer research is a fraction of what is raised annually but knowing that the people around us care just as passionately, if not more, is a feeling neither Mansi nor myself can describe.”
Prem said shaving their heads earlier this month had attracted more awareness to the campaign and they were both enjoying their new looks.

READ NOW“We hope that current patients can see us strut bald in public and not feel like they have to cover their head with a wig or beanie because they’re beautiful with or without hair,” he said. He thanked their supporters including Supa IGA Girrawheen, Spicers in Malaga and Jogia Diamonds owner Yogesh Jogia.
“I don’t know why we didn’t do this sooner,” he said. “We’re truly humbled and hope we’ve made an impact no matter how small.”
