Route 390 (Joondalup to Banksia Grove via Tapping) will run more frequently, with buses operating every 10 minutes in peak times ” an increase from the current 20 minute service.
Route 391 (Joondalup station to Banksia Grove via Carramar) will extend into developing areas north of the future Banksia Grove town |centre to a bus terminus on Glasshouse Drive.
Wanneroo MLA Paul Miles said the changes to bus services would coincide with the start of train services to the new Butler station.
‘Buses on both these routes will also operate an hourly service on weekends, plus services will start earlier and finish later throughout most of the week,’ he said.
Route 467 (Whitfords station to Joondalup station via Pearsall, Hocking and Ashby) will gain an additional trip on weekdays at 8.09pm.
Route 468 (Whitfords station to Joondalup station via Wanneroo Road) will take a more direct route to the Joondalup CBD.
