The latest round of the Home and Community Care program, funded by federal and state governments, is part of $9.4 million for new care activities.
Moore MHR Ian Goodenough said the funding would be distributed among two services in Joondalup and Currambine.
‘This funding will help expand existing services or create new ones in identified priority areas of need across the state, presenting West Australians with improved service options and support services,’ Mr Goodenough said.
‘For example, in Joondalup, $101,553 will be allocated to Community Vision Inc for domestic assistance, a new bus and equipment for centre based day care.’
Brightwater Care Group Inc in Currambine will receive $81,090 towards social support.
