Amateur Football League thanks City of Wanneroo

THE WA Amateur Football League has thanked the City of Wanneroo for its support of its recent state match.

In a letter to Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts, league president John Davies said ‘my sincere thanks for your council’s support’ of the WA-South Australia game at Kingsway.

‘It was the first time in our 92-year history an amateur interstate match has been played under lights, and the Kingsway complex was the first non-WAFL venue that we have played an interstate match at,’ he said.
