The 16-year-old St Mark’s School student also won best overall score for vocal solo in musical theatre at last year’s Joondalup Eisteddfod.

She will sing a six-song set of covers including artists Ella Henderson, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding and Etta James.

She will entertain festivalgoers at 3pm on March 28 on the Mad Hatter’s Outdoor Stage as part of the Joondalup Eisteddfod Showcase.

Reid’s recent successes include performing the National Anthem solo for the opening of the Wanneroo Show, performing solo with the Australian Army Band at Carols at Scarborough Beach and filming and recording a second performance with television show The Couch.

As a Year 12 student, she hopes to go on to the WA Academy of Performing Arts.
