Apartments planned for Wanneroo infill site

AN infill development proposal could see a double-storey apartment block with nine units built in Wanneroo.

A development application for 50A* Frederick Street is out for public consultation until September 5.

The proposal includes three ground floor apartments, six upper floor apartments and 17 car parking bays including one visitor bay.

Wanneroo Council refused a previous application for a nine-unit development at the site in June 2018 because it did not meet design standards.

The City’s website said the current application would also be assessed about the State design codes for apartments.
