Celebrations in motion for pool reopening

AFTER several months of work, the lap and leisure pools at Aquamotion in Wanneroo will re-open on April 26.

The City of Wanneroo pools were closed in September for re-tiling works, which was expected to take about four months.

However, structural issues meant this closure time would more than double.

To celebrate the re-opening of the leisure pool and main 25m lap pool, Aquamotion will host a free family fun day from 1pm to 5pm on May 5.

It will include mini fitness and aqua tryout sessions, pool inflatables, face painting, food vendors, free ice-cream and a bouncy castle.
