‘From July to September, more than 281,000 patrons visited the venue, which is 50 per cent above the same time last year,’ VenuesWest chairman Graham Partridge said.

Latest figures released by VenuesWest show 91 per cent of patrons attended Arena Joondalup for community use such as sporting functions, childcare and recreational programs, 8 per cent for elite sport use and 1 per cent for commercial use.

‘The results clearly indicate a combination of factors including record levels of population growth migrating to the northern suburbs over the last few years,’ Mr Partridge said.
