POLICE have issued an arrest warrant for a Tapping man charged over the burglary of a Quinns Rocks home after he failed to appear in court last week.

He allegedly hawked the jewellery to a pawnshop on February 14. Officers charged the man with burglary, stealing and fraud.

Senior Sergeant Brad Burnett said selling an allegedly stolen item to a pawnshop was a form of fraud because the person in possession of it claimed ownership.

The man was due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on February 17 but failed to appear.
