Art group hoping for good omen

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

The Artika Group will hold its annual exhibition and art sale from Friday, June 13, to Sunday, June 15.

Artist Susan Payne said the group hoped the opening on Friday the 13th would be good luck for the group to raise enough funds to buy 13 wheelchairs.

‘This is our fourth exhibition at Sorrento and once again we will be supporting Wheelchairs for Kids through the proceeds of a raffle,’ she said.

‘Each year we have held this exhibition, we have increased the number of wheelchairs we have been able to provide ” 10, 11 and 12 last year, making 33 in total.
