Art on the inside

The day included a wide range of local arts and crafts organisations and artists with the gallery transformed into an expo where 36 stalls offered sales and information.

Stalls included Limelight Theatre, Women’s Healthworks Choir, WA Sugarcraft Academy, Calligraphers Guild of WA, Joondalup Wanneroo Woodturning Group and provided information on how to get involved.

There were works by local artists in the art market and community and charity stalls in the great court and puppet-making workshops took place for children as well as performances by the Challenge Brass Band.

Other activities included face painting, rag rugging, storytelling and opera and puppetry demonstrations by Leon Hendroff.
