The 30-year-old from Cottesloe won $7000 for her aluminium foil-inspired Nothing and everything that is near peripheral 1, which will be added to the City’s art collection.
‘The strips of foil are marked by an undisclosed oxidation process, lending it a metallic iridescence and adding an element of mystery; the material is at once familiar and surprising,’ the judges said.
