Ashby man charged over alleged online drug sales

AN Ashby man is facing more than 20 charges after he was allegedly running a webpage selling homemade cannabis products to interstate buyers.

Acting Sergeant Stuart Fairely alleged the man told police he believed it was legal because it was for medicinal purposes.

Police accuse the man of selling cannabis oil, tincture and seeds to buyers in New South Wales.

Officers raided a home on October 7, seizing 18 packages of alleged marijuana products.

The man was charged with offences including 15 counts of supplying a prohibited drug, possessing a drug with intent to sell or supply and importing a border controlled drug.
