Banksia Grove mother charged with assaulting three children

A BANKSIA Grove mother has been charged with the assault of her three children, including one allegation that she struck her seven-year-old daughter across the face with a torch.

Police recently charged the woman (38) over the child abuse, which is alleged to have happened last year.

Investigators allege the woman also hit the seven-year-old girl with a vacuum cleaner pole.

She is further accused of striking her six-year-old son with a window squeegee and hitting her nine-year-old son with a rolling pin.

Police charged her with six counts of aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm.

She is due in Joondalup Magistrates Court on May 23.
