Zig Zags Out of School Hours Care included billy cart racing in its program to amuse children while parents worked.

Duncraig resident Maria Mantecon’s nine-year-old daughter Isabel was among the children at the centre enjoying “fun, interactive and diverse” care over the holidays.

“Vacation care offers a range of amazing and innovative activities that our daughter would not otherwise be able to experience,” she said.

Centre director Lorraine Ablett said the pottery class and billy carting were the most popular activities.
