Blender exhibition offers mix of ideas

New Perspectives, which runs until February 15, includes paintings, photography, sculpture, film, mixed media and installation art.

‘The work reflects diversity, innovation and new and different perspectives of art making,’ gallery co-ordinator and exhibiting artist Val Shaw said.

City of Joondalup curator Gemma Ben-Ary will open the exhibition at the gallery in Central Walk tomorrow at 7pm. Guests will find out the winner of a competition to design a new logo for the blend(er), which will become Joondalup Art Gallery.

Ms Ben-Ary will discuss the exhibition and contemporary art at a ‘conversation’ over morning tea (gold-coin donation required) on Friday, February 14, at 10am.
