About 300 people went to the revamped former Whitfords Tavern and didn’t leave disappointed.
Group co-founder Derek Cromb said highlights included Matt Taylor’s ad-libbed set, the exuberance of Fremantle guitarist Mike De Velta, the professionalism of Rick Steele and the powerful performance of house band, On The Level, led by frontman Dave Gillam.
‘It was an interesting mix of the well-established blues musicians and some of the up and coming young talent,’ Cromb said.
Shazza Fuller won the Fender guitar in the raffle.
