PEOPLE got creative at a City of Wanneroo ‘crafternoon’ tea held recently.

Residents were encouraged to attend the Hainsworth Centre on November 17 from 12.30 to 3pm to enjoy paper crafting at the first of two Girrawheen art sessions.

They made gift cards and decorations and learnt drawing skills.

The session was for those wanting to build confidence in doing craftwork and drawing for pleasure.

Another session on December 15 is on mystical mandalas (pattern and shape drawing) and will again run from 12.30-3pm at the centre at 29 Hains-worth Avenue.

The cost is $15.

Bookings need to be made by December 11. Call 9342 7000 or email bianca.marson@ wanneroo.wa.gov.au.
