Bridge beams being installed over Mitchell Freeway at Reid Highway

Eight bridge beams up to 44.5m long and weighing about 160 tonnes will be lifted into place using a 600 tonne crawler crane over two nights.

The following road closures will be in place from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8.

Mitchell Freeway near Reid Highway:

Northbound closed Friday 8pm-Saturday 6am, Saturday 8pm-Sunday 7am and Sunday 7pm-Monday 4am;

Southbound closed Friday 8pm-6am (reduced to two lanes), Saturday 8pm-Sunday 7am and Sunday 7pm-Monday 5am.

Reid Highway will be closed in both directions between Duffy and Erindale roads from Friday 8pm to Saturday 6am, Saturday 8pm to Sunday 7am and Sunday 7pm to Monday 5am.

Services on the Joondalup train line will be cancelled between Perth and Whitford stations from Friday night until the last service on Sunday.
