GERMAN beer is now flowing at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City.

Brotzeit, which recently opened as part of the centre’s upstairs food court, has been granted its liquor licence.

General manager Raymond Angriawan said after such a long wait, he was “extremely happy” to be able to open the German restaurant’s bar.

Exclusive beers on offer include Paulaner Lager and Dunkel, while Mr Angriawan also recommends the Warsteiner Pilsner.

For food, he recommends the Brotzeit supreme platter, which consists of pork knuckle and ribs, veal goulash, a |variety of sausages and hotdogs.

Brotzeit opened its first Australian outlet at the one40william complex in Perth CBD in February 2015.
