Budding City of Wanneroo entrepreneurs encouraged to apply for Curtin Ignition scholarship

CITY of Wanneroo residents with an innovative business idea have until July 13 to apply for a Curtin Ignition scholarship.

Curtin Ignition is an intensive, one-week education program for aspiring entrepreneurs, academics and corporate visionaries to trial and prepare business ideas for the commercial environment.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said the City was offering two fully funded scholarships through the annual program.

“The City is committed to supporting local businesses and enabling economic growth and employment,” she said.

“These scholarships are specifically aimed at people with an early stage business or an idea for a new product or service which could become a high growth business.”

An information session about the program will be held at 10am on Wednesday, June 27 at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.
