Improvements include three new set-down and pick-up bays and a continuous path from the car park to the centre’s entrance, a partial roof replacement and two self-service kiosks for members to book into fitness classes.
‘More than 8000 members attend group fitness classes each month,’ Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said. ‘This new technology eliminates the need to book for a class at reception.
‘There are also plans to shift Learn to Swim and short course enrolments to an online system, but customers still have the option of booking into programs, classes and services at reception.’
