After last year’s panto success, the group will bring the comedic Babes in the Wood to life at Hamersley Community Recreation Centre.

The story is about ‘babes’ Jack and Jill left in the woods by two bumbling criminals on behalf of the Sheriff of Nottingham who wants them killed.

Their rescuers are Robin Hood and his merry men, who share the stage with such colourful characters as schoolmistress Dame Trott, the wicked Duke of Gisburn, Maid Marion and the cheeky Simple Simon.

Babes in the Wood plays on Fridays and Saturdays, November 15, 16, 22 and 23 at 8pm, with a matinee on Sunday, November 17, at 3pm.

Tickets are $18 adults, $15 concessions (includes six to 17-year-olds), under-6s free. Book at cdevans@iinet.net.au or call 9401 6427.
