Labor leader Mark McGowan and Girrawheen MLA Margaret Quirk launched the policy at the site of a future primary school in Landsdale earlier this month.
Mr Collier said more than 100 WA schools already provided space for before and after school care for children aged four and older, including at Landsdale Primary School, and the private sector catered for pre-school aged childcare.
“The State Government’s commitment to early childhood learning and assisting parents is second to none,” he said.
“Thirty-seven new KindiLink Aboriginal kindergartens have opened for three-year-olds, providing play and learning for both children and their parents.
“This year we also have 21 child and parent centres on school grounds that cater for parents and their children.”
