Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard turned the first sod on Tuesday to mark the start of one of the City’s biggest construction projects.

Georgiou Group won the tender to build the Hames Sharley Architects-designed car park for $14.7 million.

Mr Pickard said the City had invested heavily in the important project which would ease pressure for parking in the city centre.
