Carpark’s ground-floor extension opens ahead of schedule

The ground floor has 170 car bays, with another 730 to come once the four-level car park is completed by February 2014.

The multi-deck car park forms part of a $300 million redevelopment of the shopping centre.

Centre manager Gemma Hannigan said work between the train station and centre would also start in January and the Southern Mall was on schedule to open in March.
