The Discover Joondalup WiFi service covers the area from Central Park in the south, to Shenton Avenue in the north and is bounded by Lakeside Drive in the east and McLarty Avenue in the west.

People can use the network to access the internet on any WiFi capable device.

Teal stickers advertising the service have been put up on bins and lightpoles around the CBD advertising the new service.

Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said the service would be a boon for business in the CBD.

‘Every vibrant modern city centre needs such a service and this provides an opportunity to raise the profile of Joondalup as a modern, connected place that is taking advantage of the digital economy.’
