Centre has plenty of celebrate after first year

Ngala's early learning and development service opened its Joondalup centre last May and has since grown to 90 per cent occupancy.

The centre has partnered with Ramsay Health, with its staff members comprising 35 per cent of the families using the long-day care service.

"This partnership with Ramsay Health has directly benefited staff and the parents have told us how much they appreciate the opportunity for on-site care," Ngala chief executive Ashley Reid said.

Youth Minister Tony Simpson attended the morning celebration to cut the birthday cake.
