The North Coast Youth Concert Band (NCYCB) is open to musicians from 12 to 18 years and aims to allow them to develop their skills in a vibrant, encouraging and engaging environment, especially for students who may not have a fully-fledged music program at their school.

‘We hope that NCYCB will be able to give young musicians in our northern suburbs a creative outlet and a chance to learn and perform in a challenging environment where everyone has a common goal – to enjoy creating music and to share it with others,’ creative director and head conductor Samuel Parry said.

‘Band members will also have the chance to learn directly from principal players from our mother ensemble, the Western Australian Charity Orchestra.’
