Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo receive funding for bike paths

LOCAL governments will receive $220,000 in state funding over the next two years for three cycling facilities projects.

The Department of Transport will provide the funding through the Perth Bicycle Network and Regional Bicycle Network grants programs.

The City of Wanneroo will get $83,000 to build a shared path on Ocean Reef Road in Woodvale and $12,000 to design another on Connolly Drive between Lukin Drive and Hester Avenue.
