City call on public to report hooning

The driver of a green Holden Commodore sedan ploughed through the front garden of a Corkwood Street home before becoming airborne and hitting a parked car about 5pm.

Deputy mayor Dot Newton urged those who witness hooning to report incidents to police.

‘The community are our eyes and ears on the street,’ she said.

‘Without community support and action, we won’t be able to stamp out this unacceptable behaviour.’
