City of Wanneroo artworks go online

A VARIED art collection featuring items acquired by the City of Wanneroo over six decades is available to view online.

The City has published a collection of about 250 pieces of artwork on its website, covering categories including ceramics, digital art, drawing, indigenous, painting, photography, sculpture and textiles.

The most highly valued artwork is Robert Juniper’s painting Christmas Trees on the Bay Track while an etching by prolific WA artist Queenie McKenzie also features.

It includes a substantial number of items by northern suburbs artists and the City will add the winner of its annual Community Art Awards and Exhibition to the compilation.
