City of Wanneroo Community Art Awards and Exhibition open for entries

ARTISTS are invited to enter their work in the City of Wanneroo’s annual Community Art Awards and Exhibition.

The competition is open to WA artists and gives them the chance to share in $16,800 of prize money.

Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said the event attracted a high calibre of entries each year.

“The Community Art Awards and Exhibition provides an ideal opportunity for their diverse talents to be showcased, along with those of artists from across WA.”

Last year’s exhibition saw a record 111 artworks displayed at Wanneroo Gallery.

Artists must be aged 16 or older and their work must be original, less than a year old and not previously exhibited.

Entries close on April 7 at 4pm or when 230 valid submissions are received.
