City of Wanneroo: four people in court in relation to Jason Robert Edge disappearance in Perth’s north

FOUR people have now been charged in relation to the suspected killing of Carramar man Jason Robert Edge, last seen in the City of Wanneroo suburb of Clarkson in Perth’s north.

Police last week charged Matthew James Howarth (26) and Jodi Abbott (37) with being an accessory after the fact to an indictable offence, having charged Christopher Joe Moir (21) and Johnathon Pihema (28) earlier last month with Mr Edge’s murder.

All have been remanded in custody after initial court hearings to reappear in the next two months.

Mr Moir and Mr Pihema faced Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday, to reappear on December 23.

Mr Howarth faced Joondalup Magistrates Court on Thursday and is due to reappear on November 6.

Ms Abbott faced Joondalup Magistrates Court on Friday and is expected to reappear on November 27.

Mr Edge (29) has not been seen since the Anzac Day weekend in Clarkson.

Police released a likeness of a Hyundai Excel that could help with their inquiries.
