City of Wanneroo invites public comment on speed humps for Blackmore Ave in Girrawheen

PLANS to install eight speed humps on a Girrawheen street are out for public comment.

The City of Wanneroo has invited submissions until November 16 on its traffic management plan for Blackmore Avenue.

It said the proposal aimed to reduce speeding and hooning, increase road safety and improve traffic flow and pedestrian connections in the area.

It plans to start work on the $141,600 project in March and provide affected residents with more information closer to the time of construction.
