HOMEGROWN talent is set to shine at this year’s City of Wanneroo Presents concert.

Supporting Perth headliners Birds of Tokyo at the free November 4 event are local acts The Money War, These Winter Nights and The Spring Peaks, as well as New South Wales duo Winterbourne.

“Birds of Tokyo is one of the most highly anticipated acts we have ever welcomed to the City and to complement their performance we have booked stellar support entertainment,” Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said.

“Our annual concert is a huge event on the calendar and guarantees rocking entertainment to keep fans on their feet for hours.”

Food trucks will descend on Wanneroo Showground for the concert, with a wide variety of cuisines on offer.

Vendors include Pinchos, Lucky Chan’s Bao Bar, The Wooden Box, Lena Lu, Braised Bros, Baguette Me Not and Gourmet Poshdog.

Children will be entertained with a climbing wall, bungee trampolines, bouncy castle and face painting.

Tickets are free but essential and available to City residents on October 2 from 9am at www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au/concert.

Remaining tickets will be released to the public on October 16.
