CITY of Wanneroo residents can now submit development applications online.

The City has expanded its online services to allow businesses and residents to lodge applications for development approval via its website.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said it was designed to improve accessibility.

“Customers have the option to apply with ease in the comfort of their own home or anywhere using a computer or mobile device, depending on the application,” she said.

“Lodging development applications online makes the process more streamlined and is anticipated to result in faster processing timeframes.”

People are also able to request bins for newly built properties and report a stolen or damaged bin.

Existing online services include street and verge bond applications and payments, food business registrations, residential building applications and sign license and demolition permits.

The City will continue to process hard copies of development approvals.
