An amendment to the east Wanneroo structure plan proposes to recode portions of two lots on the corner of Alexander Drive and Landsdale Road from R20-30 to commercial.
It includes a clause to ensure the commercial site is designed to minimise radio-frequency interference to the nearby Perth International Telecommunications Centre, in consultation with Telstra.
The existing road alignment represented through the lots will also be removed.
The City’s report said the recoding would create greater flexibility for the design layout within the commercial site, which is expected to consist of retail, medical, veterinary and child care services and offices.
