City of Wanneroo to host information session on Pinjar Road widening project

THE City of Wanneroo will hold a public information session about widening Pinjar Road this month.

The proposed $1.9 million widening project involves building a dual carriageway between Blackberry Drive and Joondalup Drive, in Tapping, Banksia Grove, Mariginiup and Ashby.

The October 22 session will provide information about the alignment and level changes associated with the works and how the City plans to minimise the impact on surrounding residents.

It will run from 6.30pm to 8pm at Carramar Community Centre, 5 Rawlinna Parkway.

The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation recently approved the City’s clearing application for 2.2ha along Pinjar Road.

Submissions on the proposal can be made until November 30.
