City of Wanneroo updates fraud and corruption policy

Lucy JarvisWanneroo Times

THE City of Wanneroo has replaced its ‘Fraud, Corruption, Bribery and Misconduct Policy’ with a ‘Fraud and Misconduct Control and Resilience Policy’.

The council adopted the replacement policy in early May following a review of the original policy to align it with the Fraud and Misconduct Control and Resilience Framework adopted in March 2017.

The May council report said governance staff had given leaders comprehensive training in the framework and delivered fraud and misconduct awareness training to all staff.
