RAISED median intersections and blister islands are part of a proposal to reduce traffic speed and the number of crashes on Koondoola Avenue.

The City of Wanneroo has invited submissions on a traffic management scheme for the road between Ellerby Way and Burbridge Avenue.

The plan includes installation of two raised median intersections, two blister islands and an extended median island.

According to the City, the need for works was identified after residents raised concerns and a traffic investigation found high traffic speeds and crash numbers on that section of the road.

The City has invited residents to provide feedback by February 12.
