City of Wanneroo’s Live in the Ampitheatre draws thousands to free films

A FREE outdoor movie series screened in Wanneroo attracted thousands of filmgoers.

The City of Wanneroo hosted its Live in the Amphitheatre program in January and February, offering a variety of films shown at the Civic Centre’s Jacaranda Amphitheatre.

Select screenings featured pre-show entertainment, including live music and children’s face painting and craft activities.

More than 5000 people attended throughout the two-month season, which gave City of Wanneroo residents priority access to tickets before being made available to the public.
