City of Joondalup’s Rates to Rise by 3.9 Per Cent

Tyler BrownWanneroo Times

It means that minimum fees for improved residential lots will increase from $797 to $828, with a minimum of $845 for vacant residential lots, and all commercial and industrial lots.

Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said that the higher differential rating for vacant residential lots was to “disincentivise the holding of land” and to encourage development.

There will be no increase in refuse charges.
