It will host public forums as part of its vision to make cycling integral to daily life and safe for people of all ages and abilities.

The City plans to have a draft of its bicycle plan and how to provide feedback on its website by the end of the week.

It will host bike plan community workshops at:

– Hainsworth Community Centre, Tuesday, March 24, 6.30pm-8pm.

– Butler Community Centre, Wednesday, March 25, 6.30pm-8pm.

– Wanneroo Civic Centre Council Chambers, Monday, March 30, 6.30pm-8pm.

As part of Your Move Wanneroo, the City has committed $22,000 to improving end-of-trip facilities and shared-path marking.

It also recently installed 10 bike racks across the municipality.

A ‘wayfinding’ program will be introduced to the City’s pathway network.

To coincide with Bike Week, the City will host a Bike to Work Breakfast for employees who ride to work.
