Closure for road works in Banksia Grove and Carramar

ROAD closures are in place from today in Banksia Grove and Carramar.

As part of its obligations under the local structure plan, developer Banksia Grove Development Nominees is facilitating construction of a roundabout at the junction of Pinjar Road and Golf Links Drive.

A road is also being built east of the roundabout inJewel Way, which will link to Ghost Gum Boulevard.

During the works, there will be no access along Pinjar Road between Coles shopping centre’s west entrance and Porrecta Link, and Golf Links Drive, from Fine-view Crescent to Pinjar Road.

Banksia Grove management development manager Andrew Todd said the decision was made in conjunction with the City of Wanneroo.

“We agreed the safest and quickest method was to have a full road closure,” he said.

Construction is expected to be completed by November 1.
