Club has view to helping children

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

The local club is among Australian VIEW (voice-interests-education of women) clubs which support The Smith Family’s Learning for Life education program.

Children receive help from pre-school to tertiary level, including after-school learning clubs, reading support, mentoring and tutoring. West Coast publicity officer Diane Cook said the club could support five more children thanks to the lunch at Hillarys Yacht Club.

The Smith Family recently launched its winter appeal to raise $3.43 million to provide on-going support to 10,000 disadvantaged children.
