College cancer fundraiser

A sausage sizzle, staff morning tea, raffle and the sale of Daffodil Day merchandise also contributed to the money raised.

Social justice captains Rhys Mola and Ashley Carvalho said they believed the Sorrento school had a special responsibility.

‘As social justice captains we feel compelled to raise awareness and funds in a way that can help improve the lives of those afflicted with cancer, including those in our own community,’ they said.
